Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)

Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)

Technology

The Fresnel collector is a line-focusing system which uses individually tracked reflector rows to concentrate direct solar radiation onto a stationary linear receiver. A pressurized water circuit at 16 bars is a cost-effective and efficient way to transfer process heat at temperatures of up to 200 °C. For higher temperatures, a thermal oil circuit is the appropriate technology.

Applications

Industrial Solar collectors can provide process heat at temperatures of up to 400 °C in a power range from 100 kW to 10 MW.

The number of possible applications is nearly unlimited!
